Do I need to register?
No. Partumo works with your Apple ID – no separate account, no password. Just open the app and get started.
How do I join a group?
Ask the group admin to share the join code with you (e.g. "RIVER-7096"). Enter this code in the app under "Join Group". Even faster via AirDrop – simply receive the invite link on your iPhone and the group opens automatically.
Where is my data stored?
Exclusively in your personal iCloud. Partumo has no backend and no server of its own. Your data belongs to you.
How are expenses split?
You specify who paid and which members are involved. Partumo splits evenly or you can set individual amounts. The app then calculates net balances and suggests the minimum number of transfers needed.
Can I export the settlement?
Yes. In the group view under "Export" you can export a PDF summary, a detailed PDF with notes and receipts, or a CSV file for Excel and Numbers.
Does Partumo work across multiple devices?
Yes. Thanks to iCloud sync, all data is automatically available on all your Apple devices – without you having to do anything.
How much does Partumo cost?
Partumo is free. Those who want to support development can optionally leave a tip via the "Tip Jar" in the settings.
